Since coming in early June to serve as your Interim Pastor, I have noticed how many folks serve this church in important leadership positions.
The folks who handle the worship service arrangements at both the early service and the eleven o’clock service do such a great job with the music, the public address system, the video presentations and other aspects of the worship experiences from Sunday to Sunday.
The many individuals who teach Sunday School, prepare meals, handle the financial needs of the church and its ministry, take care of the cleaning of the facility and the maintenance of the grounds, order supplies, and greet visitors do an exceptional job as well.
The Deacons who address business matters of the church and look after the needs of our church family in times of crisis are an exceptional group of committed leaders.
In short, Dobson First Baptist is blessed to have such a large and committed group of church leaders who we may sometimes take for granted. Many folks work quietly in the background and may escape notice oftentimes, but their service is also so very important.
I know that, as your Interim Pastor, my work is made so much easier with the support of these fine leaders in the congregation. I would encourage each member of the church to thank these who serve so faithfully and let them know that their efforts are much appreciated.
