Deacon’s Corner -
You (church members) have put your faith and trust in me as the chairman of the Pastor Search Committee. This is a very important time in the life of our church and with God’s help and your many prayers we must show great unity and patience. With the help of my fellow committee members; Sandy White, Jenny Alyn Scott, Keith Adams, and Rob Thomas, we pledge to carry out this task in a very godly and professional way. We plan to communicate to you as we progress in the process.
With the leadership of Reverend David Allred as our interim pastor, I know our church will remain strong. But we must all continue to support him and our church both spiritually and financially during this time. His guidance will be a big asset to our committee as well as our church during this transition.
1 Timothy 4:7 states that “a pastor must also be well spoken of by people outside the church – those who are not Christians as well – so that Satan cannot trap him with many accusations, and leave him without freedom to lead his flock.”
